ALBUQUERQUE, NM - The New Mexico BioPark Society is proud to announce Bank of America as the presenting sponsor for the 32nd Annual Run for the Zoo...and walk with us too! on Sunday, May 7, 2017.
Run for the Zoo is one of the largest races in New Mexico, with a cap of 12,000 participants and five different race options: Half Marathon, 10K Timed, 5K Timed, 5K Fitness and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk through the back of the Zoo.
As one of the largest fundraising events of the year, the New Mexico BioPark Society is looking forward to partnering with Bank of America to ensure the success of this fundraising event that benefits the Zoo.
"The very best part about fundraisers like Run for the Zoo is the spirit of generosity they display," said Taylor Pellegrini, events director for the New Mexico BioPark Society. "From our runners who come out to have a good time, while supporting a great cause, to our sponsors like Bank of America, who are showing their commitment to this community and this landmark facility, I am always astounded by the goodness of the people of Albuquerque and the surrounding areas."
"Bank of America sees community institutions like the BioPark as important drivers of economic and educational growth, so supporting healthy fun events like Run for the Zoo is a great way to boost the BioPark's local impact," said Paul Mondragon, New Mexico market president, Bank of America. "Events like Run for the Zoo bring together our colleagues and neighbors to help contribute to the great culture here in Albuquerque. I have many fond memories as a kid and now as a parent thanks to the BioPark, and I'm glad that we as a company can give back."
Registration is now open, and prices range from $30 to $55 depending on the event. Participants can register for their race at www.runforthezoo.org
