Investigate the Sport of Scuba
Scuba Day at the ABQ BioPark Aquarium features local companies, chance to win a Shark Tank dive
ALBUQUERQUE, NM - Albuquerque may be in the middle of the desert, but the sport of scuba diving is alive and well.
Learn more about this aquatic activity at Scuba Day from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Feb. 11, 2017, at the ABQ BioPark Aquarium.
The event will feature representatives from several local diving companies - The Scuba Company, New Mexico Scuba Center, Scuba 8, Desert Divers and Deep Blue Scuba. Representatives from the Cody Unser Foundation will also attend.
Attendees will learn more about diving and where to purchase supplies, and about upcoming scuba classes and trips.
The event concludes at 2 p.m., when Shark Tank divers will give a special narrated dive. Divers enter the tank every day at 2 p.m. to clean surfaces and feed the animals.
Guests can also enter to win a dive in the Shark Tank. Winner must be scuba certified before redeeming their dive.
The event is included with regular admission.
