Scottish Snowdrop Festival - 1st February to 12th March 2017
Snowdrops, the magical white gems which herald the onset of spring, are being celebrated in the Scottish Snowdrop Festival. The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh and its regional Gardens, Dawyck and Logan, are again participating in the festival. Photograph shows snowdrops at Dawyck.

Dawyck boasts swathes of snowdrops
If you are visiting Dawyck then prepare to be amazed by the sight of carpets of snowdrops. Swathes of snowdrops which cover the banks of Scrape Burn are always a firm favourite with visitors in early spring.
Sunday opening at Logan for Snowdrop Festival
Logan Botanic Garden will open specially each Sunday in February for the Scottish Snowdrop Festival. Come along between 10am and 4pm and see the Garden's collection of snowdrops and other early spring flowering plants. Admission is by donation.
The Garden opens fully for the 2017 season on Wednesday 15 March.
