Chef Eddie Coronado began his career in the restaurant industry at the age of 17 after he took a job working as a bus boy/dishwasher at Palms Restaurant in Green Valley. The chef of the restaurant was short-staffed one day, so Eddie asked if he could help out with some prep work in the kitchen – this was the start of his culinary path. At 20 years old, he became a father and took another step in his culinary career by taking a line cook position at Fox Restaurant Concept, Bistro Zin in Tucson. When he wasn’t spending time with his daughter, he was working in the kitchen honing his culinary craft. He learned on the job, and worked his way up to become an Executive Chef in the company which includes stints at Blanco Tacos + Tequila, Zinburger Wine & Burger Bar, North Italia and more recently, Wildflower American Cuisine. His passion for Latin American flavors and the restaurant industry is evident in his every day, as can be seen on his Instagram account, @ecsince80, where he posts his creations regularly for his 32,000+ followers. Currently overseeing the culinary standards of eight restaurants across two brands within Fox Restaurant Concepts, Eddie doesn’t plan on putting his knives away anytime soon.
