Class Details: Food is a universal human connector, linking us across boundaries of race and culture, and herbs and spices have always played an essential role in making those foods come alive in unique and delicious ways. Join us for a special program of ethnic flavors and stories from around the world, in the elegant setting of the Statler Hotel. Members of the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship program at Cornell will share their personal stories of foods and flavors that are part of their cultural identity and traditions. A diverse selection of unique tastes will be provided by the Statler Culinary Team, as well as a sampling of delightful Finger Lakes wines and non-alcoholic beverages. Pre-registration is required.
The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program is part of the International Programs of the Cornell College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. The program provides professionals from developing countries an opportunity to enhance their leadership potential and managerial skills. At Cornell University, Humphrey Fellows are professionals in the fields of agriculture, environmental and natural resource management, biotechnology, and city and regional planning.
