GardenNews.biz - Nov 26,2013 - WHITE FLOWER FARM - PLANTS FOR INDOOR BEAUTY THIS WINTER
Paperwhites belong to a group of Daffodils that are not hardy for us, but are easily grown in a pot or vase indoors. Their large clusters of pure white flowers arch above graceful, blue-green foilage, and their perfume fills a room with fragrance. Paperwhites require no preparation and are absolutely foolproof. When bulbs are planted in early December, they will flower in 4 to 6 weeks with seldom a miss. We ship Paperwhites from September into January, with an occasional pause for foul weather.
Our large Amaryllis bulbs are fabulous and foolproof bulbs with shapely blooms and rich, iridescent colors that will light up a winter day like nothing else we know. The carefully prepared bulbs we deliver require only warm temperatures, regular watering, and a little light to deliver a truly spectacular performance about 8-10 weeks from receipt.
Jasmine flowering plants are handsome, subtropical vines whose dark green leaves provide a perfect backdrop for its January display and exquistely fragrant white flowers. We ship our plants with buds already set, so with proper care an explosion of midwinter blooms is assured. Through summer and fall, we prune and shape the plants in our greenhouses. Learn more in our video "How to grow Jasmine indoors."
Please note: We've extended our ordering deadline for Jasmine plants beyond December 1st in order to take advantage of warmer winter temperatures in New England. However, we don't know when the weather will turn, so order your plants today to ensure holiday delivery.
